Terms of Service

1. About PrepDr

PrepDr is an exam-preparation platform for medical postgraduate students. The Service provides structured answers, classification tables, decision flowcharts, textbook references, and practice tools built around past examination questions for designated specialties.

Educational use only. Content on PrepDr is intended to help you prepare for written examinations. It is not medical advice, a substitute for clinical judgment, or a guideline for treating real patients. Always rely on validated clinical protocols and your supervising physician for patient care decisions.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a current or aspiring medical professional to use PrepDr. By creating an account, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide during sign-up and onboarding is accurate.

3. Your account

• You create an account with “Continue with Google” and then verify a mobile number by one-time password (OTP). Both are required, and we do not manage passwords.
• You sign back in with the same Google account, or with an OTP to that verified number. Accounts created before this flow keep working with either method.
• You are responsible for keeping your phone number, SIM, and any linked accounts secure, and for all activity that occurs under your PrepDr account.
• You agree to provide accurate information during onboarding and to keep it up to date — including the email address you use at checkout, which is where your payment receipt and account communications will be sent.
• You may not share your account, sell access, or let others use your credentials. Each subscription is for a single individual user.

4. Beta state of the Service

PrepDr is under active development. We continuously add, edit, and re-organize content, and some features may be experimental, incomplete, or change without notice. We do not warrant that any specific question, answer, or feature will remain available in any particular form.

5. Subscription and access

The following terms apply to paid subscriptions:

• One-time payment, time-limited access. A subscription is a one-time payment that grants you access to the Service for a fixed access term of 12 months from the date of payment.
• No automatic renewal. Your access automatically ends at the end of the access term. We will not charge you again unless you choose to re-purchase access at then-current pricing.
• Pricing. The applicable subscription fee is displayed clearly on our pricing page and confirmed with you before any payment is made. Pricing may change for new purchases; any change does not affect access you have already paid for.
• Taxes. PrepDr is currently below the threshold that requires Goods and Services Tax (GST) registration. As a result, the price shown at checkout is the final amount you pay; no separate GST is added today. If we cross the GST registration threshold in future, prices will be inclusive of GST going forward; this will not change the amount already paid for any existing access term.
• Refunds. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, scrape, mass-download, or systematically copy the Service or its content.
• Resell, sublicense, redistribute, or publish our content (in whole or in part) on any other platform, channel, or medium.
• Share your account or use a single account for multiple users.
• Use the Service to violate any law, infringe anyone’s rights, or transmit harmful, abusive, or illegal content.
• Attempt to disrupt the Service, probe its security, or access parts of it you are not authorized to access.

We may suspend or terminate access for any user who breaches these rules, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the breach.

7. Intellectual property

Our content

All editorial content on PrepDr — including answers, classification tables, flowcharts, summaries, mnemonics, and the structure and presentation of material — is owned by or licensed to PrepDr and is protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use this content for your own examination preparation only.

Past examination questions

Past public-examination questions reproduced on the Service are used for educational and reference purposes. The editorial answers and supplementary material around those questions are our original work.

Your content

Bookmarks, notes, drawings, and other content you create on the Service belong to you. By creating such content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, and display it back to you so we can provide the Service.

8. Modifications to the Service or these Terms

We may update the Service, change features, or modify these Terms at any time. For material changes to these Terms, we will give at least 30 days’ notice in-app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after the change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

Examination outcomes depend on many factors. We make no guarantee that using PrepDr will result in a particular score, rank, or pass status.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrepDr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim, or, if no amount has been paid, INR 1,000.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PrepDr and our Service Providers from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your infringement of any third-party right.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by emailing us at support@prepdr.in. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will survive.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
