About
PrepDr is an exam-preparation platform for medical postgraduate students. We turn the past examination archive of each specialty into structured, textbook-grounded study material — so the time you spend revising goes into understanding, not into hunting for answers.
Why we built it
Medical PG exams reward depth and structure: clear classifications, decision-ready algorithms, exam-style answers calibrated to marks. The raw materials — past papers, textbooks, guidelines — already exist, but pulling them together for every question takes weeks of repetitive work that every student does alone.
PrepDr does that work once, carefully, with subject-matter review, and presents the result in a focused reading interface. You revise; we keep the material accurate, current, and easy to navigate.
How we work
- Past papers as the spine. Every question from the past archive of a specialty becomes a study unit, broken into sub-parts at the level the exam asks.
- Textbook-grounded answers. Each sub-part is answered using the standard textbook for the specialty, with primary-source references rather than assembled summaries.
- Examiner-style structure. Answers are calibrated to what examiners look for — classification tables, definitions before details, and key numbers highlighted — so the format matches the rubric.
- Reader-driven corrections. Where a reader flags an error or where guidelines update, we correct the relevant answer and stamp the change with a date.
- Structure that aids recall. Classification tables, decision flowcharts, and dosing rules are presented visually so concepts stick beyond the next exam.

Editorial standards
Where standard sources disagree, we follow the primary textbook for the specialty and note the alternative view rather than averaging across sources. Where guidelines update, we update the relevant answer and stamp the change with a date. We treat accuracy as the first feature.
Content on PrepDr is for examination preparation. It is not medical advice and does not replace clinical judgment or the guidance of supervising physicians.
Who we are
PrepDr is operated by Bommalapurada Puneetha Reddy, an individual based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
Editorial work follows one discipline: each answer starts from the standard textbook of the specialty, is written in the structure examiners expect, and is corrected promptly when a reader flags an error or a guideline updates. Software, infrastructure, and operations are run by a small team that ships continuously.
